Why GELCON Latin-America
It is well known that small businesses need a great deal of support from their government, it´s entities, their community and the financial institutions. From Mexico to Argentina they are considered the power of development and a key to success of Latin-american economy, shamefully South American governments do not provide the support to the initiatives they present and they are left adrift in the in the process of executing them. They are only seen as an exponential number when it comes to tax paying and generating jobs. Analyzing local economy we conclude that if these small businesses grow, the country will grow as well, and this will lead us to a highly competitive and socially responsible country.
Only a few amount of businesses become big companies and in this way they enter in a specialized market, highly competitive or exclusive in order to have better income rates. This has helped them to finance themselves and expand their growth; to the companies that make it there, is the start of corporate excellence and this has an impact among its shareholders, employees and the country´s growth. But, who supports the companies that doesn´t reach this shift in the long run? Considering that they have all the legal documentation, the discipline, the time, knowledge and corporate qualities?
With cultural changes in human history comes the technological era and its solutions for entrepreneurs and its businesses, the information era has allowed us to reinvent ourselves throughout time, for the simple reason that technology has become businesses best allied when it comes to process management, sales and their own internal structure management, it is for this reason that small business cannot be strangers to this change. With this premise in mind small businesses can become in big companies, participating in markets that they couldn´t even imagine before and at the same level as top competitors thanks to tools such as the Internet, communication services and better informed customers that are more demanding where language is not even a barrier anymore.
GELCON Foundation Latin-America rises to help businesses in the Latin-American region on the adoption of Information and Communication Technologies and guide them thru the process of merging on these new technologies so that they can become better competitors. To achieve our goal we have established strategic partnerships with companies and government entities that support our initiative and by this unite forces to convert small and medium businesses in highly competitive, technology savvy and socially responsible organizations.
